Horror and Heavy Metal Writers Wanted at HORROR PATCH!

Do you love horror movies? Do you love heavy metal music? If you like one or both of these then you’d be perfect for Horror Patch and we want you! We are in need of writers who are passionate about the subject and would love to write about the horror genre or heavy metal in any form, whether it’s film, literature, art, comics, music, whatever. No prior experience needed!

This is an unpaid & volunteer position, but there are many perks and growth opportunities. You’ll be a key member of our team, have lots of creative control and a real voice in how we grow the site. Prior experience is helpful but not necessary. What we need most is passion and dedication, as well as someone with some great creative ideas who truly love horror/heavy metal and is excited to help us really grow.

Horror Patch was born in December 2016. As a young site dedicated to providing great content for hardcore horror and heavy metal fans, we are looking for talented and passionate writers who love and respect the genres as much as we do. Whether you’re interested in contributing as a guest columnist or taking on a more active role as a member of the Horror Patch crew, we want to hear from you!

Here at Horror Patch, we feel that horror and heavy metal go hand in hand like blood & gore. Most horror fans love heavy metal and most metal fans love horror, it’s true. This is why we cover both genres with so much ferocity.

We are looking to grow the site, with members of our team enjoying the benefits: you’ll get to see new horror releases, the chance to network with other members of the horror and heavy metal community, the opportunity to meet and interview important filmmakers and artists in the genre, attend concerts for free, future opportunities to cover major horror and metal events, plenty of great exposure and creative freedom, and so much more.

Even if you have no other previous experience, we want to hear from you. Because we are a newer site, we’re willing to work with young and passionate writers and give you the chance to grow with us.
