SLEIGHER Unleashes Parody Track, “South Of Lapland (Santa’s Gory Yuletide)”!

Christmas parody metal band SLEIGHER has dropped their annual Yuletide track. This year, it will be “South Of Lapland (Santa’s Gory Yuletide)”, a hilarious take on Slayer’s “South Of Heaven” for those not in the know. Check it out below.

From The Press Release

It’s Sleigher the sequel! Members of Haken, Dream Theater and Protest the Hero have once again ventured South of Lapland for a festive mash-up of two Slayer classics.

“South Of Lapland (Santa’s Gory Yuletide)” features alternate lyrics and music written and arranged by guitarists Charlie Griffiths of Haken and illustrator Dan Goldsworthy (Corpsegrinder, Accept, Cradle Of Filth), with lead vocals courtesy of Rody Walker of Protest the Hero. Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater) and Ray Hearne (Haken) return for synth and tuba madness, and Jeramie Kling (Inhuman Condition, Venom Inc) has swapped his drum sticks for a microphone. Joining the expedition are Becky from Fury (and recently of Mercyful Fate live), the mysterious Delta Empire on drums, and a host of a 80s toys/characters.

Santa beware – this time… it’s Judgment Sleigh!

About Michael Juvinall (6472 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
