DOMESTICALLY IN THEATERS
FEBRUARY 25TH, 2022

International release date to be announced soon.

Like most things Foo, STUDIO 666 began with a far-fetched idea that blossomed into something bigger. The film synopsis goes like this:
In STUDIO 666, the legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.

Grohl came up with the story idea for the film and recruited Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes to complete the script. Director BJ McDonnell of Hatchet III and Slayer: The Repentless Killogy fame directs the film.

The movie not only features tons of hilarious gore but also stars Whitney Cummings, Leslie Grossman, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega and Jeff Garlin. Grohl’s bandmates Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett & Rami Jaffee will be along for the ride playing themselves in the film. Open Road Films has acquired worldwide rights, and the distributor has set a wide theatrical release in 2000+ theatres on February 25, 2022. Get ready to laugh, scream, and headbang in your popcorn this February, ONLY IN THEATRES !!
