GODZILLA: THE ANIMATED SERIES Statue by Mondo!

Mondo will release the really cool-looking statue for GODZILLA: THE ANIMATED SERIES. You can pre-order the statue and get more information about it right here after the jump.

From The Press Release

Godzilla has had many looks throughout the years. At this point, we anticipate a new costume or aesthetic with each new appearance. With this in mind, we’re commemorating The King of Monsters’ designs throughout the years with our latest collectible line: GODZILLA MUSEUM.

Our GODZILLA MUSEUM line of small-scale collectible statues will celebrate all iterations of Godzilla throughout its rich history through media, from its most iconic looks to new artist interpretations.

What better way to kick off Series 1 of GODZILLA MUSEUM with the first official release of a collectible based on the killer ’70s cartoon. If you grew up a Godzilla fan during that time, there’s no doubt that you sang along to that tune (…”annnnnd Godzooki!!!”). It’s still stuck in our heads.

Our GODZILLA MUSEUM: Godzilla – The Animated Series (1970s) statue is available for pre-order now. And since this is such a special moment for us at Mondo, and as Godzilla fans, check out our blog for a look at how it all came together.

We knew immediately that if we wanted to prove our bonafides with GODZILLA MUSEUM, this had to be a starting point. It’s the missing piece in so many collections! We took out all of the stops to evoke the look and feel, with its full cel-like line art and paint application, of the ’70s cartoon.

These roto vinyl/PVC statues will come with a museum-style base and plaque, allowing you to display the figures on or off of the base. Ideally sized at 7.5″ tall (8.25″ on its base), these statues can fit in any display case, big or small!

About Michael Juvinall (5388 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
