Video Interview with WRONG TURN Reboot Star Charlotte Vega!

Interviewed by Michael Juvinall – Horror Patch

WRONG TURN is available on VOD, Digital, DVD and Blu-ray February 23rd.

Spanish/English actress Charlotte Vega heads up the cast of the brutal remake/reboot of WRONG TURN! The 27-year-old actress and model is known for her role in the 2014 Spanish film The Misfits Club, the lead role in the 2017 Irish horror film The Lodgers, and main roles in two television series during 2015 – season 3 of the Spanish series Velvet and the single-season of the Spanish-British co-production The Refugees.

In her current film, WRONG TURN, she plays Jen, one of a group of backpackers trekking their way through the mountains of Virginia. What she doesn’t know is they’re heading into the wilderness domain of a clan of survivalists known as The Foundation. To say any more would be to spoil a really great film.

Vega’s character of Jen is a real force to be reckoned with in the film. She may look like a diminutive city girl in the film, but watch out – her character kicks some major ass.

During the recent press day for Wrong Turn, I had the pleasure of chatting Charlotte up via Zoom about the film, her role in it, production challenges, and more. She is a fascinating person to talk to and provides a great interview. Watch out chat below:

In the new film, Backwoods terror and never-jangling suspense meet when Jen (Charlotte Vega) and a group of friends set out to hike the Appalachian Trail. Despite warnings to stick to the trail, the hikers stray off course—and cross into land inhabited by The Foundation, a hidden community of mountain dwellers who use deadly means to protect their way of life. Suddenly under siege, Jen and her friends seem headed to the point of no return— unless Jen’s father (Golden Globe® nominee Matthew Modine) can reach them in time.

About Michael Juvinall (6048 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
