From The Press Release

Craven Corner Enterprises, LLC. is pleased to announce the green light on their upcoming horror, paranormal thriller film WINDOW WITH A VIEW. Production will begin in early 2021 in the state of Kentucky. The project is currently running an IndieGoGo campaign to raise the last of the funds that they need to complete principal photography. Their previous campaigns, donations, and sponsorships have gotten them to this point, and are ready to proceed to the next steps. Creator and Co-Director Chad C. Hundley state: “This project has been almost 13 years in the making, and it’s almost like a dream that it is finally happening! My baby and this story are ready to be shown to the world!”

The project has also snagged worldwide attention in its early stages from both actors and crew members. Their soundtrack will be composed of a company based out of Moscow along with a composer from Los Angeles. They have producers from Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Australia. Their cast also consists of individuals from many different walks and genres. Maria Olsen, an indie film horror icon will be portraying the role of the crazy eccentric librarian. Maria is best known for her work on projects such as Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief as the Fury and teacher, Paranormal Activity 3 and 5 as a coven woman, and I spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu as Becky. Amanda Aday, known for her portrayal as Dora Mae on HBO’s Carnivale, Madison from the feature film Madtown, and the daughter of ballad rock star’s Meat Loaf. In addition, Kitsie Duncan lead investigator and host of the paranormal show “The Oddity Files” and actress in the upcoming feature film Mother’s Blood has also joined the cast.

The project has a lot of different aspects and hopes to stretch the boundaries of your typical horror film tropes by putting an LGBTQ inclusiveness and factor in it as well. Hundley explains “You have to be extremely careful when you include minority groups such as the LGBTQ community in horror films without it appearing to be hate crimes or portraying the community in a negative and stereotypical light, and I believe we have a screenplay here that the LGBTQ community will love!” They have included LGBTQ actors and activists in the project such as Michael Kenneth Fahr, fellow independent filmmaker portraying the role of Sheriff Dempsey, and former reality star Andrew Shayde from CBS’ The Amazing Race as Detective Metcalf. There are at least six different characters from the community that will be represented as well. Executive Producer Kari Webber quotes: “We are also portraying these characters in a positive manner to show that those in the LGBTQ community are just like everyone else. They love, cry, hurt, live, and have a daily routine just like everyone else does.”

About Michael Juvinall (6924 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
