DULUTH, MN — For the better part of two years, filmmaker Keith Hopkins has been interviewing horror anthology filmmakers for the nonfiction book, The Horror Anthology Handbook. Set to release on Kindle and paperback on 10/27/20, the book includes interviews with the makers of V/H/S, Trick ‘r Treat, Black Mirror, The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror, Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, The ABCs of Death, and plenty more.

This book is for horror fanatics and filmmakers alike, with behind the scenes stories from classic movies and shows, as well as actionable advice for making features out of shorts. Hopkins says, “When I set out to direct a horror anthology film I searched high and low for a book on the topic. It didn’t exist, so I decided to write it myself.”

About Michael Juvinall (6924 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
