Brief about the characters

Dr. Refaat Ismail

Refaat Ismail is the main character of Paranormal books. He’s a cynical Hematologist with a sharp temper and distinctive physique. He’s messy, gloomy and nihilist with an absolute carelessness towards the world. He’s unable to express his feelings, which is why he only ever loved one woman, his college mate Maggie, a love that he never confessed. During the show, he faces a series of supernatural events and tries to unravel them to convince himself -being a man of science- that the Paranormal world does not exist.

Maggie Mckillop

Maggie Mckillop is Dr. Refaat’s love interest, to whom he never confessed his love. She’s a Scottish physicist who Dr. Refaat met during getting his PHD at the University of Dundee. Maggie is an extremely delicate person and accompanies Dr. Refaat during his adventures in the first season. She can also speak relatively fluent Arabic.

Howaida Abdulmoniem

Howaida Abdulmoniem is Dr. Refaat’s fiance who works as a music teacher at an Egyptian school. She’s had a strong relationship with Dr. Refaat at an early age due to her tight bond with his sister Raeefa. Howaida holds a special place in Dr. Refaat’s heart but struggles immensely with filling the void left by his first love. Howaida plays a central role in the events that Refaat goes through in the series.

About Michael Juvinall (4302 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
