THE HOST (2006)

When the creature abducts their daughter (Ah-sung Ko), a vendor (Song Kang-ho) and his family decide that they are the only ones who can save her.
The Host is a really good South Korean monster movie directed by Bong Joon-ho (Parasite). This film is yet another example of the burgoning Korean film industry that has produced many outstanding films of the past 20 years or more.
The monster was created mostly by CGI on film but still makes for a very cool creature. The Host is another film on this list that has achieved cult status since its initial release. Seek this one out, you definitely need to give this wonderful film a watch.
