Horror Patch’s HALLOWEEN MONSTER MASH – Day 11: Grabbers!

In this holiday feature, we will showcase the best monster movies ever made during each day of the month, leading up to Halloween.

DAY 11

GRABBERS (2012)

Residents of an island off the coast of Ireland learn that the only way to survive an invasion of blood-sucking aliens is to stay drunk.

Grabbers is an extremely fun Irish and UK co-production monster movie. It’s a witty horror comedy that hits all its marks. It even has a bit of romance thrown in the mix.

The excellent creatures in the film are a mix of pysical effects and CGI but well realized. The cast is great in this film as well. It stars Richard Coyle, Ruth Bradley, and Russell Tovey, which you might be familiar with from the British version of Being Human as the werewolf.

About Michael Juvinall (6921 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
