FX Wiz Nick Benson Joins THE HOUSE IN THE PINES!

We’ve been bringing you casting news periodically for the upcoming horror film, THE HOUSE IN THE PINES. It was just announced that FX wiz Nick Benson (Tremors, The Blob) has joined the production. Get more details on Benson’s involvement and the film itself down below.

FX master, Nick Benson comes on-board the new horror movie, THE HOUSE IN THE PINES.  Nick has provided his special effects magic on a collection of horror films that include, Tremors, The Blob, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, and Bride of Re-Animator.  

Nick joins an already incredible team that includes Director, Mick Strawn (Candyman, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3: Leatherface, Boogie Nights), Co-Director, Jeremy Brown (Friday the 13th Vengeance) and Music Producer, Joe “The Butcher” Nicolo (The Rolling Stones, Foreigner, Cyndi Lauper).  

THE HOUSE IN THE PINES comes from the creative mind of Mario Cerrito (The Listing, Human Hibachi).  If you are looking for a horror movie with that 80’s slasher style and a dash of paranormal, this is the movie for you. 

4th Dimension Pictures will be making THE HOUSE IN THE PINES under the guidance of producers, Michael Joy, John DiRenzo, and Mario Cerrito.
