From The Press Release

On February 21st, 2020, Katoptron IX Records is proud to present Witchcrawl‘s striking debut mini-album, World Without End.

Witchcrawl was formed in 2018 fueled by the passion of the traditional heavy metal sound. Although a new entity, Witchcrawl contain a wealth of experience in their ranks, including erstwhile members of such bands Akrotheism, Serpent Noir, and labelmates Primeval Mass. Together, in the early months of 2019, they created their first public work, the five-song/27-minute World Without End.

Beginning on a most bewitching note (literally!), Witchcrawl‘s debut mini-album pushes forward with power and poise, haunting atmosphere and heroic bravado alike. The band cites their central influences as Angel Witch, Iron Maiden, Mercyful Fate, Candlemass, Riot, and Griffin; although all certainly detectable, World Without End nevertheless exudes a rough ‘n’ ragged charisma all its own, its songwriting epic yet immediate, straightforward but never over-simplified. And the recording itself retains an earthy grit commensurate with those time-honored influences.

The past is alive with Witchcrawl, and it’s just beginning with World Without End!

About Michael Juvinall (6911 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
