In a bit of casting news tonight, we have some details on Russell Crowe’s next film. He has been cast in the yet-untitled supernatural horror film for Miramax.
The film will be directed by first-timers Joshua John Miller and M.A. Fortin from a script they wrote.
The film will be produced by genre vet Kevin Williamson (Scream, The Following, Vampire Diaries) through his Outerbanks banner.
In the film, Crowe plays a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a horror film. His estranged daughter wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play.
We’ll have more on this as we get it.
