BREAKING: R.I.P. – Horror Legend SID HAIG Has Passed Away at 80!

As I woke up a short time ago, I had no idea I would be reporting this extremely sad news today. Legendary actor Sid Haig has passed away! His wife Susan reported the news via his Instagram account only a few hours ago. He passed away on Saturday.

On Saturday, September 21, 2019, my light, my heart, my true love, my King, the other half of my soul, Sidney, passed from this realm on to the next. He has returned to the Universe, a shining star in her heavens. He was my angel, my husband, my best friend and always will be. He adored his family, his friends and his fans. This came as a shock to all of us. We, as a family, are asking that our privacy and time to mourn be respected. Sidney Eddie Mosesian 7/14/39 – 9/21/19 Husband, Father, Grandfather, Friend. Goodnight, my love. We will find each other again, next time. I love you.

After a serious fall over a week ago and a stint in the hospital and ICU, Sid’s wife recently reported that he was on the mend and things were looking up for him. Sadly, he must have taken a turn for the worse.

The House Of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects’ star just had the third film in Rob Zombie’s trilogy, 3 From Hell get released last week in theaters. His Captain Spaulding character from those films skyrocketed his career with today’s audiences. His long career in Hollywood spanned nearly 60 years and 150 film and television roles.

This is a complete shock for us all and Sid will be missed greatly. I had the complete pleasure of meeting Sid a few times and interviewed him as well. All of us here at Horror Patch are deeply saddened and would like to offer our sincerest condolences to Sid Haig’s family and friends at this time!
