In a brief casting update, it was announced today that Dave Bautista has been set to star in director Zack Snyder’s upcoming action-horror pic, ARMY OF THE DEAD for Netflix. Get more details on the casting news below.

According to sources, Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy, WWE) has just closed a deal to star in the upcoming action-horror pic Army Of The Dead, for director Zack Snyder (Justice League, 300, Dawn of the Dead remake).

Scripted by Shay Hatten and Snyder, the adventure is set amid a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, during which a man assembles a group of mercenaries to take the ultimate gamble: venturing into the quarantined zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted. Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are producing, and Ori Marmur and Andrew Norman are overseeing it for Netflix.
