From The Press Release

Sweden’s death metal long-runners DERANGED, whose last album “Struck By A Murderous Siege” was released in 2016, present a music video for the album’s title track. The video was filmed by The Metal Rebel and features a recap of the band’s headlining tour of Indonesia, which took place in 2016. Watch the video at:

As previously reported, DERANGED has parted ways with their vocalist, Anders Johansson. The band’s choise as his successor fell on Johan Bergström (Visceral Bleeding), with whom the band will emerge on a new string of European dates this season. First confirmed shows are available below.

“Struck By A Murderous Siege” – DERANGED‘s first studio album in five years and ninth altogether – was recorded at Berno Studio (Amon AmarthThe CrownWitchery) in Malmö, Sweden, and was followed by a special compilation release, “Postmortem Rituals”, featuring a collection of rare demo tapes and 7″ singles (all remastered from original DAT tapes). The album’s cover artwork was created by Mike Hrubovcak (GraveSix Feet UnderSinister).

DERANGED was formed in 1991 by a couple of bored teens in the southern parts of Sweden, that basically wanted to do something in their spare time. Inspired by the bloodiest and most violent bands of the period, like early CarcassNapalm DeathImpetigoSuffocation, and even bloodier horror movies, they started to grind. The early fascination proved to be a particularly long-lasting and fruitful one, with a short break between 2007 and 2009. DERANGED is led by drummer Rikard Wermén, the band’s mastermind and the sole remaining member from the original 1991 line-up.

About Michael Juvinall (6643 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
