Breaking: Horror Wins Big At The Academy Awards Tonight!

2017 was a banner year for horror at the box office and tonight’s 90th Academy Awards ceremony which just finished up proves it.

Guillermo Del Toro’s monster love story THE SHAPE OF WATER won Best Picture!

Del Toro himself won the Oscar for Best Director!

Also, GET OUT writer/director Jordan Peele won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

This is tremendous news for the horror genre because it means that our beloved genre is being recognized for the fine work that’s being put out.

The Shape Of Water received 13 Oscar nominations in all this year. Winning for Best Production Design, Best Original Score, Best Director, and Best Picture.
