R.I.P. – Predator Star Sonny Landham Has Passed Away!
We have to report that actor Sonny Landham has passed away at the age of 76. It is being reported that he passed away from congestive heart failure in Lexington, KY., according to his sister.
Beginning his career in adult films and stunt work, Landham transitioned into acting work in the late 1970s, often drawing on his Cherokee and Seminole ancestry to portray characters of Native American descent.
Landham’s first major role came in director Walter Hill’s 48 Hours alongside Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy. Fans probably know him best from his role of Billy, the Native American tracker in Predator.
Landham is survived by his two children.
