R.I.P. – Predator Star Sonny Landham Has Passed Away!

We have to report that actor Sonny Landham has passed away at the age of 76. It is being reported that he passed away from congestive heart failure in Lexington, KY., according to his sister.

Beginning his career in adult films and stunt work, Landham transitioned into acting work in the late 1970s, often drawing on his Cherokee and Seminole ancestry to portray characters of Native American descent.

Landham’s first major role came in director Walter Hill’s 48 Hours alongside Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy. Fans probably know him best from his role of Billy, the Native American tracker in Predator.

Landham is survived by his two children.

Our respects go out to Sonny Landham’s friends and family!

About Michael Juvinall (6643 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
