Ian McShane Joins The Cast Of HELLBOY Reboot As ‘Professor Broom’!

In more interesting casting news today, Ian McShane (American Gods, Ed Wick) has been tapped to play Professor Broom in the upcoming new adaption of Hellboy. He will join previously cast star David Harbour (Stranger Things) who will be portraying Hellboy.

Harbour is toplining as the demonic hero from the Mike Mignola comic books in a new feature, titled Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen, that Neil Marshall, the horror director who broke out with The Descent and won raves for his work on Game of Thrones, is on board to helm.

McShane will portray Hellboy’s adoptive father, Professor Broom.

The film is looking to start shooting in September with locations in the U.K. and Bulgaria.
