Poster Debut For The Asylum’s EMPIRE OF THE SHARKS!

File this one under the “Why Not?” category…The Asylum, the folks behind the Sharknado films and many other mockbusters comes the poster release for their latest cash grab, EMPIRE OF THE SHARKS.

This film was written and directed by Mark Atkins.

There is no release date yet but look for it soon to probably premiere on Syfy in the near future.

“Mankind just dropped down on the food chain” as we have dropped our IQ’s for watching this one.

The cast for Empire of the Sharks includes John Savage, Jonathan Pienaar, Jack Armstrong, Ashley De Lange, Thandi Sebe, Tshamano Sebe, Camilla Waldman, Leandie Du Randt Bosch, Tauriq Jenkins, and Tapiwa Musvosvi.

Plot Synopsis

In the future, most of Earth is covered by water. The only land left is controlled by a lone warlord and his army of ever-vigilant, hyper-intelligent sharks. The humans are forced to pay tribute to the warlord, and the unlucky ones are caged up and kept as food for the shark army. But when two friends risk their lives to rescue a trapped prisoner, those imprisoned decide to rise against their captor and his legion of bloodthirsty sharks.
