From The Press Release

Fan-favorite writer Jim Zub (WAYWARD, UncannyAvengers) and artist Djibril Morissette-Phan (All-New WolverineUltimates) will kick off a new story arc in their ongoing tale of twisted fame and failure GLITTERBOMB this September from Image Comics.

Kaydon Klay wants to be famous. She wants it more than anything else she’s ever known. The dream is hers for the taking, and all she has to do is embrace the national tragedy that’s put her in the spotlight…

“Kaydon Klay’s story is rooted in our national obsession with horrifying events—a parade of pain trotted out for the relentless 24-hour news cycle,” said Zub. “It’s about the fear of not feeling special, set against the all-seeing spotlight of instant media attention, all wrapped up with a supernatural spin.”

“If you enjoyed our first mini-series, this one’s going to get its hooks into you again,” added Zub. “If you didn’t read GLITTERBOMB, THE FAME GAME provides a fresh jumping-on point, giving you all the backstory you need and a new focal point character to follow along with.”

GLITTERBOMB: THE FAME GAME #1 Cover A by Morissette-Phan (Diamond code: JUL170704) and Cover B by Rebecca Puebla (Diamond code: JUL170705) will hit stores Wednesday, September 20th. The final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, August 28th.

I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
