iZOMBIE & THE ORIGINALS Renewed By The CW!

More good news for some of our favorite genre series’ on the CW Network as iZombie & The Originals have both been renewed by the network.

The Originals will return for a fifth season and iZombie for season 4.

The Originals had been the more vulnerable of the two as there had been discussion whether the spinoff would be able to stand on its own continue after mothership The Vampire Diaries had ended its run. But The Originals has done respectable ratings business on Friday where it succeeded TVD.

The Originals follows Klaus Mikaelson and his family in New Orleans. Joseph Morgan stars alongside Daniel Gillies, Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis, Yusuf Gatewood and Riley Voelkel.
