Fox Cancels SLEEPY HOLLOW After Four Seasons!

Fox announced today it has canceled the supernatural series SLEEPY HOLLOW after its fourth season. The show which started out as a modest hit for the network eventually lost steam after seasons three and four. Read on for more details.

According to Deadline, There will not be another last-minute reprieve for Sleepy Hollow as Fox has canceled the supernatural drama series after four seasons.

Sleepy Hollow, inspired by Washington Irving’s story, had been heavily on the bubble for a second straight year. Last year, it eventually was renewed for a fourth season, which marked a new chapter for the show following the shocking exit of female lead Nicole Beharie whose character Abbie was killed off in the Season 3 finale. Also, after relocating to the low-trafficked Friday night midway through Season 3, Sleepy Hollow remained on Friday for its fourth season, which made its battle for survival even tougher.

Sleepy Hollow, from 20th TV and K/O Paper Products, was created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove and Len Wiseman.

Tom Mison starred as Ichabod Crane. Lyndie Greenwood, Lance Gross and Jessica Camacho co-starred.

I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
