From The Press Release

Next week (May 5th), Dutch death metallers God Dethroned will unleash their new album, The World Ablaze, worldwide via Metal Blade Records! In anticipation of this release, the band has launched a new video for the track “Annihilation Crusade”, which can be viewed here:

God Dethroned‘s Henri Sattler comments: “‘Annihilation Crusade’ is the opening song from the new album and starts off with a heavy rolling riff before it unleashes its mayhem. One of the more brutal songs on the album but with a beautiful epic middle part. The lyrics are about an army that crushes everything in its path to victory!”

God Dethroned comments: “‘The World Ablaze‘ is our final album in the WWI trilogy. We aimed to create an album that is very dynamic and diverse. It contains typical GD riffing with loads of melodies and catchy hooks. The songs are perfect for our live shows as they contain many mid-tempo parts combined with faster and more brutal parts. Diversity to the max! Dan Swano mixed the album in his typical fashion but without robbing the band of its own identity. Mastering was handled at the Wisseloord Studios where they also mastered albums for bands like Rammstein, among many others, and they put the icing on the cake. The album sounds crystal clear and heavy as fuck at the same time. We are very proud to present this album during our upcoming Serpent Fest album release shows early May!”

About Michael Juvinall (6643 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
