Yes, it’s quite a combination, Stephen King and J.J. Abrams working together on a thriller project for Hulu. Castle Rock will be a limited series for the streaming service. No word yet on when this will happen, but it shouldn’t be too long. We have a teaser trailer and a bit more info for you down below.

The series is being written by Manhattan creator Sam Shaw and Dusty Thomason.

Castle Rock, from Abrams’ Bad Robot and Warner Bros TV where the company is under a deal, is based on short stories by King. It is named after Castle Rock, the fictional area in King’s native Maine that serves as the setting for a number of his novels, novellas, and short stories.

About Michael Juvinall (6643 Articles)
I am a devoted husband and father. I have been a voracious horror fan since the early age of 5 and metal fan since I was 14. I watch all horror films but my great loves are classic horror films: Universal Monsters, Werewolves, Hammer Horror and an all-around affinity for things that go bump in the night! I'm also a huge fan of extreme metal music.
