Conjuring Spinoff THE NUN Also Gets Dated For July 2018!

Boy, July of 2018 is shaping up to be a big month for horror next year. Warner Bros.’ New Line Cinema has announced their spinoff to the highly successful Conjuring franchise, The Nun has been given a July 13, 2018 release berth.

Fast-tracked for a summer start, it’s the second spinoff title in the James Wan universe following Annabelle. The first three movies in the franchise grossed close to $900M, and the fourth, Annabelle 2, opens on August 11.

Corin Hardy (The Hallow) will direct The Nun off a script by Gary Dauberman from a story by him and James Wan. Wan and Peter Safran are producing.
